Conviction gave itself the perfect Christmas and New Year's present today, when 25 brave souls stood up (and flew up) to Malygos showing him that he wasn't quite as powerful as he might first have thought.
The raid started with some unfinished business in Naxx25, followed by a fast Sartharion kill before reaching Maly with only a couple of hours raid time to learn, perfect and kill.
I have no clue what happened in the first of the two hours because I was slacking in the murky abyss of 'real life', but after being drafted in for the final hour, I saw some pretty solid attempts with only a couple of minor issues to iron out. With a little bit of co-operative TS direction for P3 we had the raid moving perfectly in sync. I think the Russian syncronised swimming team has a challenge at last! (Assuming Dragons are allowed in the Olympics)
The kill was a pretty typical Conviction one, 15 minutes after the official raid end, our last attempt, slightly after the enrage timer, and every man dead as Malygos final hit point vanished. It wouldn't be fun if it happened any other way!
We feel this kill came a little later than we would have liked, but as a consolation he would almost surely have died a week earlier if we hadn't got tempted by Christmas food and wine. We are of course still showing hunger for more kills, and are already looking forward to Blizzards next content installment.
... what? You expected a good looking kill photo? With three dimensions to organise we didn't even bother trying to look neat and tidy - that is clearly beyond our abilities.
To strengten our raiding guild we are looking to add some skilled Healing Druids/Pallies
