KJ died on attempt 21 of the night at 00:15 - a true Conviction kill, the last attempt before the end of the raid. So now Conviction can say that they have completed all the PvE content that the Burning Crusade has to offer - and it feels good!
This fight is pretty awesome, Blizzard have actually done something good for once. There are a lot of elements involved to get control of this fight and there is a lot of damage intake that needs to be avoided and healed through - everyones positioning and reaction time will make or break an attempt at this boss.
In P5 we kept having too many people die early and as a result we stalled on DPS, treading water before we ran out of Shields to protect ourselves. For the last attempt Juggle told me to get in one more DPS to see if it can push us over the edge, and hope that the remaining healing team could keep up. Additionally I directed a couple of ranged dps to ignore Orbs and Reflections and just kill that damn Deamon through P5. Thankfully this did the trick and we took him out pretty fast. A nice little tweak at the end seemed to make all the difference.
Thanks to all tonight who kept ressing up and getting us into that P4/P5 position almost every attempt, giving us the chance to take it all the way. It was an intense night, and we didn't show signs of giving up.
Our heroes... (still not very good at posing)
And a silly one suitable for halloween...
Win!
