In a very successful evening, we managed to down three bosses in Mount Hyjal on our first evening there.

Winterchill put on ice in first meeting. Venture forth to see what Mount Hyjal had to offer and only really aiming to take Rage winterchill down we had a lot of sparetime on our hands when he fell on our first attempt.

Making good use of our time we went on to Anetheron, who gave up on our second attempt. In all the exictment everyone forgot to screenshot the kill, we'll hopefully have a picture for you next week.

With Thrall tanking for the final moments of the fight, Kaz'rogal went down just past midnight with one couragous paladin left standing by Thrall's side when the dust settled.

This has been an truely amazing week where the conviction train has just been rocking and roling. Being part of all this makes an old man proud...

As mentioned in some other topic we had our first Ka'el kill earlier this week. As everything else was cleared, even Grull if I remember correct, then there wasn't really anything else for us to do, that to go visit the good old Mount Hyjal - no way it could be delayed any longer.

So with 24 man online, we wen and looked at the old Alliance camp at the foot of the mountain. What can I say: Alliance camps are ugly places to be - way to neat and clean - but luckily someone decided to talk with to Lady Jaina, the local boss of the place.
She proved to be a real *****! First she called in wave after wave of undead critters followed by somy ugly, bony girl with oversized fingers. Conviction was not in the mood for any foolishness and decided to first dispatch with all the critters in a swft fasion and then turned up the heat for mrs Winterchill. The result can be seen below:

What can be said about 1st attempt, 1st kills - it dont get much better.

After having spent some moments poking the remains of the bony girl for any valuable stuff, we decided to demand some rewards from Jaina. Annnoyingly she just laughed at us and instead decided to provoke more of the undead critters pesting the area around Mount Hyjal. Conviction must have been taken by surprise, as the 7th incomming wave of ghouls and other ugliness more or less wiped the entire raidgroup. Luckily, as a paladin knew some strange bubble trick that saved a healer and not to forget a pair of hunters knew when to call the stops and drop out of combat, we were quickly up and ready to fight again - and this time we wiped the body of Anetheron so far down into the group, that it seems noone was able to imortalize the moment with a photo.
Again we went to the big boobed lady to demand a reward, but the cowardly lady just said "oh well run - we delayed the monsters for long enough. I'll teleport us out of here!". As can be seen on the photo below, our resident tankadin yells out with joy "Free teleport from jaina :)"
Free teleport... aye.... for the lady and all the alliance NPC scum!

Left behind was, now, 25 members of Conviction getting raped by incomming hordes of ugliness. Oh well - you die and learn...

Having had enough of saving alliance camps we decided to go pay Thrall a visit. And what a happy orc he was! It seemed that some winged dude called Kaz'rogal, and his countless minions, had decided to raid Thralls camp.
Ofc, Conviction was up for the challenge and after a few attempts we even managed to kill Kaz'rogal.... or rather, as shown on the following picture, in the end Thrall decided to do finish of the job by himself, while one of our not-so-brave bubble women decided observe the result from within a shine sphere:

Image

oh well, in the end all that count is the picture of conviction around "its" first kill:

So what was there to do now... too late to pull the next wave, so we decided to go use our new keys to BT and look around.... We even managed to get a nice photo of our first kill in that dark place:

It has been a truely amazing week for Conviction. I am so proud and happy for ALL those who made this possible. This was just one of those weeks that proves, that when people focus and does their best to cooperate, then anything is possible.
For sure, we will be back to both Mount Hyjal and the Black Temple very shortly.
