FINALLY!!! Sartharion and his three Drake buddies relent!

After a few raids of feeling out the fight with advancements being made each attempt we quickly got to the crux of the fight where Vesperon lands whilst Shadron is still alive. This was two weeks ago. And then the serverwide lag hit, resulting in a near impossible platform to work on and improve our knowledge of the fight. We slugged through both weeks clearing all the content available and making do with Sarth2D kills for loot purposes, but no real progress could be made on Sarth3D - it is a hugely different animal to Sarth2D.

Tonight, conditions were looking good and we intended to make use of this. Almost all attempts of the night saw Shadron dieing, our only problem was the state of the raid when that happened - usually we had a few dead. A second trash clear and a small break saw the raid members come back refreshed - soon after we saw four clean attempts in a row with zero deaths before Shadron bit the dust, and on the fifth, we finally made it count and finished off the fight alive with four dead Dragons at our feet.

The victors!

Emille was the lucky chap who won the super Drake - a fitting reward for one of our longest standing tanks.

Special thanks need to go to Gotty - I think this is his first major 'end content' boss that he has solo RLed and he has been the main RL through the Wotlk content thus far. I am sure he is waking up in his sleep calling Wave directions and Drake incomings. Also thanks to Blightrose, our new tank proving that DKs are a force to be reckoned with. And ofc to the guild in general, who kept coming back for more until we finally ended up victorious.

People are probably more interested in the good looking Orc in the pink shirt and posing pouch......
