Halfus Wyrmbreaker Broken!
After the long wait Cataclysm finally arrived leading to loss of sleep and lots of fun. Eagerly rushing to the new maximum level and visiting the Heroic instances to get ready for new content, we all finally reached a decent level of gear. While our equipment was still far from finished, it was deemed sufficient to try our luck with the new raids. We visited each of the new raid instances to test the new fights with not much information to work with, but ended up with some nice new first kills.
Brutallus's evil twin brother Pit Lord Argaloth was first to fall, on our very first raid five days from Cataclysm launch. He was soon followed by Halfus Wyrmbreaker with his tamed drake allies in the Bastion of Twilight. Finding new things to do, we decided to test the defences of Blackwing Descent. After some trial and error on the Omnitron Defense System, we got within 2% of victory. The defences will fail next time, right after we are finished with the holidays.
